Funding initiatives within Pike Township that include the following:
Clothe-A-Child program during the holiday season with families provided by the Fay Biccard Glick Neighborhood Center at Crooked Creek
Snacks for homeless students within the Pike Township School System
Winter coasts for kids-Pike Township Trustee
Back to School Supplies-Pike Township Trustee
Smoke Alarms-Pike Township Fire Department
Support of the Indianapolis Children’s Choir
Funding three scholarships for seniors at Pike HS, Zionsville HS, and Scecina HS in memory of former members and community leaders Mason Bell, Terry Shaffer, and Mike Carroll. These scholarships are awarded based upon essays submitted detailing service to the community.
Kiwanis International’s Eliminate Project which is a joint effort by Kiwanis and Unicef to eliminate maternal & neonatal tetanus in developing countries around the world.
Financial support to Key Clubs at Pike HS, Zionsville HS, & Scecina HS.
Club members also submit to the board for approval non-recurring requests for financial support for other community activities.
